The acknowledgement for a project is written to appreciate all the people who have contributed in making the project successful. It is a gesture to show how thankful you are for their help and support. Here are some tips on how to write an acknowledgement for your project

My profound gratitude goes to Jehovah- God who despite my short comings saw me through my academic pursuit, and to the Blessed Virgin Mary mother of sojourners for her constant intercessions.

I specially acknowledge my supervisor, Dr Okokon Akpan for his valuable comments and support during the period of this study and beyond.

My deepest gratitude goes to my Anuty Lawrita Osuji who took me as her child and paved the way for my academic pursuit, and Victoria Osuji for her priceless support.

To my parents Chief/Lolo Boniface Ngozi Osuji-Eziefule I am most grateful for your sacrifices, love and prayers without which this dream of mine would not have been actualized.

I am also grateful to my Late Sister Emmanuella Chiazoka Eziefule who started  this academic journey with me but could not finish. You were the only sister I ever had and I know you will be proud of me in your grave and beyond. In that same vein I also appreciate my siblings Cajetan Eziefule, James and John Eziefule (umu EjimaM) and my beloved of all Victor  Eziefule. I am glad to have sucked the same breast with you all.

My sincere appreciation goes to my head of Department Dr Friday Emenka Ude who constantly in his ominous magnanimity remained a father figure to me, my lecturers Prof. Eno-Abasi, Urua (eka Usem Ibibio) Dr. Itoro Michael, Prof. Imelda Udoh, Dr. Willie U. Willie, Dr. Golden Ekpo (my staff adviser) Dr. Ememobong Udoh, Dr. Ogbonnaya Anyanwu, Mr. Emmanuel Okon, Mrs. Eshiet Udosen, Miss Esther Idika and Miss Idara Moses. Thank you all for tutoring me.

My heartfelt  appreciation goes to Mr/Mrs Innocent Chinaka, Dr/Dr(Mrs) Richard Monday Ekpo, Mr/Nneoma P  olycarp Nwakwasi, Late Mrs. Bibiana Ihekire, Miss. Pepertua Osuji, Ekemini Godwin, for taking me in, feeding me, clothing me, praying for me and showering me with love. May God richly reward you all.

To the students of the department of linguistics and Nigerian languages and the noble students umberella LINILSA, I am grateful to have been and served as your president and I appreciate you all.

To my colleagues Iyakndue Udofia, Grace Kenneth (my vice),  Promise Eyoh, Ben Imoh (my campaign  manager), Kufre Okon, Akpan Blessing, Bassey Eti-ifiok, and the entire 014 set of students of Linguistics, thank you for your supports.

I warmly express my gratitude to my project supervisor, Prof. S. N. Ndubisi who saw to it that this project was a success through his constructive criticism and professional advice. I also appreciate the effort of Mr Giweze standby, my family and my colleagues for their assistance and encouragement.
